The feet are not the most attractive part of the body, which is why we could probably benefit from dressing them up a little. However, their unusual location and unusual appearance means that most of us would rather just hide them or draw as little attention to them as possible.
This is a shame really (if you have nice feet) as some men actually appreciate women’s feet, and many open toed shoes (heels or sandals) could be jazzed up by having a little extra sparkle. The fact remains however that the rarity means that many people aren’t even aware of the jewellery they can get for their feet,or don’t even consider it when getting ready for a night out.
One option of course is the toe ring. This works in exactly the same way as a ring on the hand but is worn on the toe. Generally this will be a ring specifically designed to be worn on the foot, though it is also possible to simply have a finger ring resized to fit the toe of choice.
This can be a great use for excess rings in fact and mean that you get more wear out of your jewellery collection. This can look good with open toed heels or sandals, particularly where the shoe is quite plain.
Similarly an anklet worn around one foot (which again can be a specially designed anklet or a bracelet) can be a great way to wear more jewellery,to match with other items and to ‘section off’ the foot bellow the ankle.
