Men don’t wear much jewellery as we all know which in a way paces more emphasis on the items they do decide to wear making it vital that they get this right. Of the few items men regularly do wear (or think is ‘manly’ enough) a chain is a popular staple (guys don’t tend to call their necklaces “necklaces”,but chains,or nameless items of personal affect). For guys this makes a great un-intrusive piece of jewellery that’s subtle but adds a bit of detail to an otherwise plain neckline (it can also make a great way to distract attention away from a double chin). For women it can make a great gift that a guy is likely to wear often.
The thing is with men, that the jewellery they do wear they tend to wear all the time. For example many men wear a ring, but rather than just wearing one to occasions they tend to wear it 24 hours a day. Similarly most men once they put on a chain will opt to leave it on as a statement,as something personal,or as something sentimental, rather than choose to match it with their outfit (which simply shows far too much thought and effort).
